Zelra has a long and impressive history which is underpinned by more than 30 years of ongoing research by academics and R&D professionals worldwide.
Our DAS solution (first known as TTG Energymiser) was originally developed by Associate Professor of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, Peter Pudney, and the Scheduling and Control Group at the University of South Australia which is a global leader in optimal train performance research.
Michael heads up Zelra and our international team located across Australia and Europe.
He has displayed strategic vision during a decade of successful roles with Trapeze Rail, specialising in creating value for our customers through project delivery, client support, and business development. As a strong customer advocate who consistently drives a high-performance culture of accountability, Michael has led teams to achieve greater revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. He is committed to ensuring our suite of software solutions evolves to meet the rail industry’s current and future needs.
Graham is a technology leader, experienced in managing teams of software developers from both a technical and product perspective, with proven success across multiple industries. With a strong background in Software Development, exceptional technical and commercial skills coupled with a keen eye for detail, Graham looks to deliver quality and value to all customers across our regions.
Graham is committed to understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that drive meaningful outcomes by working closely with rail operators, industry leaders, and technology experts to identify emerging trends and deliver innovative solutions that support operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the rail sector.
As Zelra’s Head of Operations (Europe), Alex has direct responsibility for leading our Professional Services, Customer Support, and Relationship Management functions across the UK and EU.
A central focus of his role is delivering value to our clients by transitioning project execution into long-term partnerships. This includes ensuring seamless handovers, maintaining engagement, and ultimately driving continued client satisfaction.
Alex brings a wealth of software deployment experience to Zelra, which he gained from senior leadership roles with technology and software businesses in the UK’s defence, aerospace, energy, and nuclear sectors.
An experienced B2B marketing leader with more than 20 years experience Kelly has worked at the coal face of some incredibly innovative, fast moving, technology companies in her career in Brisbane, Melbourne and London.
She is passionate about bringing Zelra's strategy and vision to life as well as connecting with our customers and industry.
Michael defines and executes the strategic vision for our suite of rail solutions. He drives Zelra’s product strategy, connects with our customers to understand their needs and industry trends, and provides deep market analysis to maximise customer value. Michael has extensive experience managing technology product portfolios in the UK, Europe, APAC, and North America.
