He has displayed strategic vision during a decade of successful roles with Trapeze Rail, specialising in creating value for our customers through project delivery, client support, and business development. As a strong customer advocate who consistently drives a high-performance culture of accountability, Michael has led teams to achieve greater revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. He is committed to ensuring our suite of software solutions evolves to meet the rail industry’s current and future needs.  

As Zelra’s Head of Operations (Europe), Alex has direct responsibility for leading our Professional Services, Customer Support, and Relationship Management functions across the UK and EU.   A central focus of his role is delivering value to our clients by transitioning project execution into long-term partnerships. This includes ensuring seamless handovers, maintaining engagement, and ultimately driving continued client satisfaction.   Alex brings a wealth of software deployment experience to Zelra, which he gained from senior leadership roles with technology and software businesses in the UK’s defence, aerospace, energy, and nuclear sectors.

Farbod Nejati is a technology leader with more than 20 years' experience in product development, strategy, and delivery across multiple industries. As Chief Technology Officer and Acting Head of Operations ANZ, Farbod combines his deep technical expertise with a strong focus on business outcomes, risk management, and operational efficiency. Farbod is deeply committed to understanding customer needs and engaging with industry stakeholders to shape solutions that drive meaningful outcomes. With a clear vision for the future of rail technology, he works closely with rail operators, industry leaders, and technology experts to identify emerging trends and deliver innovative solutions that support operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the rail sector.

Jamie plays a key role in growing Zelra’s international customer footprint by developing and executing our global sales strategy. He drives the achievement of strategic objectives and outcomes across all markets, ensuring Zelra’s global team is aligned with our regional strategies and business goals. His responsibilities include building and nurturing relationships with Zelra’s key internal and external stakeholders, our customers, and our industry partners. Jamie’s extensive commercial experience has provided an understanding of the key challenges and opportunities facing the transport marketplace, including rail, freight, and public transport operations, and how technology solutions can solve customers’ problems.
